Virtual Courses

with Outschool

GBU Life is proud to partner with Outschool for the virtual component of the GBU Youth Leaders Program.

As a Give Back University student, you will have free and unlimited access to an innovative education platform that offers a variety of engaging, small-group classes online. Unlike traditional classes, Outschool classes give kids the unique opportunity to explore their interests in-depth via interactive, live video by experienced, independent educators.

As a Give Back University student, we ask that you complete 4 virtual courses a year but you can complete as many as you would like.  The more classes you complete, the more points you earn.

Explorers (Grades 2-5)

Popular courses for Explorers include "Kid's Business Blast: What's a Business? Interactive Business + Hobby Exploration, "Beginning Public Speaking", "Organization 101: Tips for Planning Out an Awesome Day" and much more.

Builders (Grades 6-8)

Popular courses for Builders include "1 Day Leadership Skills: What it Takes to Be a Strong and Confident Leader", "Time Management for Tweens and Teens", "Which Careers Fits My Personality?" and much more.

Trendsetters (Grades 9-12)

Popular courses for Trendsetters include "Learn How to Write a Stellar Resume", "How to Interview well for your Dream Job", "College Preparedness and Success: Financial Aid and Course Planning" and much more.

Creating an Outschool Account

& COPPA Compliance

If you haven't already done so, complete an Outschool account using the button below. If you are 13 or under, please have your parent create the account for you.

Please note that as a way to obtain COPPA compliance, you will be asked to enter credit card information upon account creation. Although this is a standard procedure when setting up an Outschool account, under absolutely no circumstances will you ever be charged for completing a class taken as part of the Give Back University curriculum.
