Neighborhood Eligibility Guidelines


Neighborhood Guidelines

  • A minimum of three social or insured GBU members are needed to start a Neighborhood
  • Project ideas must be submitted via the "Submit your Neighborhood Project" button
  • Projects must be approved by the Community Engagement Team before project resources are provided
  • The Neighborhood Leader will receive an email when approval is granted or if the project is denied


Ineligible projects include those that:

  • Are political in nature
  • Are controversial or serve a negative purpose
  • Fund outreach or teaching of any specific religion or point of view
  • Do not support one of GBU's four community pillars: Wellness, Education, Charitable Giving, or Hometown Hero Support
  • Funding goes to a specific individual or family of the Neighborhood group
