Operation Troop Appreciation (OTA) Veterans Holiday Party

Mark your calendars! OTA’s annual Veterans Holiday Party is on Saturday, December 21, 2024, from 11:00 AM- 3:00 PM and they need YOUR help to make it a success! Here’s the plan and how you can get involved:

👦👧 Kid Activities

Volunteers are needed to assist with activities. If you have any fun craft ideas for the kids, please contact Monica with your suggestion.

🎁 Gift Wrapping

Volunteers are needed for:

• Wrapping gifts on the day of the event
• Helping with the Angel Tree gifts before the event

🛍️ Shopper Support for Veterans

Volunteers are needed to assist veterans as they “shop” for toys for their loved ones.

🍽️ Food Contributions

OTA is planning for 150 people (including volunteers) and could use your help with food donations. These include:

• Side Dishes (suggestions: Mac & Cheese, Veggies, Potato Salad, or any easy side dish you can think of!)
• Desserts (Christmas cookies and pastries)
• Drinks (soft drinks & kids juice boxes for about 45 kids)

You don’t need to cook for 150 people – just let Monica know what dish you can provide and how much you’re able to donate.
