
GBU Life (GBU) is excited to announce the launch of our newest initiative, the Student Leaders program! We are on the hunt across the country for five GBU members enrolled in higher education to partner with us in becoming GBU ambassadors. Student Leaders will receive monthly stipends for their efforts, as well as funding and reimbursements for projects they complete in their communities.

Student Leader Basic Qualifications
1. Must be a GBU insured or social member with an account in good standing
2. Must be entering second year of college, university or trade school
3. Must currently maintain a 2.75 GPA
Student Leader Expectations
- The Student Leader will represent GBU on their campus or in their school community
- The Student Leader will complete an average of 10 service hours monthly
- The Student Leader will complete an average of one event or activity a semester in order to participate in the reward program
- If students are already participating in community service through college clubs, those may count toward their service hours
GBU Resources
- A stipend of $150 monthly to the Student Leader based on completing 10 service hours
- Funding or reimbursement to the Student Leader for activities and events
- Support with marketing and outreach to GBU members in the area
- A Start-up kit with a t-shirt, table cloth, miscellaneous promo items
- A PR-kit with approved posts, press release, and GBU logos
- A virtual call each semester to discuss projects, ideas and best practices

Earn service hours by leveraging your personal skillset.
- Volunteer work and events
- Volunteering at food banks, shelters or donation drives and sharing GBU's mission
- Organizing and participating in community clean-up days
- Assisting at local fundraising walks, festivals or awareness events
- Outreach and advocacy
- Give presentations about GBU's mission at community centers, libraries, etc.
- Host a local info table at a farmer's market, fair or event to represent GBU (GBU will cover the cost of the table and provide all resources/swag)
- Education and mentorship
- Tutoring local k-12 students
- Hosting college prep workshops
- Mentoring younger students through school or non-profit programs

- Member benefit testimonial/ review video
- Create a short-form video using a GBU member benefit with personal commentary on its value
