Hospice Remembrance Walk
Join fellow GBU Life members at a Wreaths Across America ceremony on December 13, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Bethel Cemetery Company. Members are gathering to remember and honor veterans through the laying of Remembrance wreaths. Help Remember, Honor, and Teach by sponsoring a wreath, volunteering, or inviting friends to help.

WHEN: Sunday, November 2, 2025 WHERE: 100 Brush Mountain Road Altoona, PA US 16601 TIME: 11 AM Join fellow runners, hikers, and walkers in supporting Veterans by participating in the Sweat For Vets Challenge at the Brush Mountain Sportsmen’s Association in Altoona, Pennsylvania. There will be a 10K and 5K trail race as well as a 5K trail walk for participants to choose from. The 10K race will be a challenging course scaling the Allegheny Mountains. A 5K race and walk will also be conducted in support of local Veterans. GBU Life District 45—Altoona, PA will be supporting this Sweat for Vets Challenge race with a Give Back Group. Stop by the district's table at the race to say hello and learn more about what a district is and its purpose.
