There are several ways to get involved in this exciting campaign. Explore the opportunities below and complete a Host Registration Form to join us in making a difference in your community.

Learn how to get involved!

Host an American Red Cross Training Webinar
GBU Life would like to offer you a great touch point opportunity with clients or members of your community group by hosting an exclusive virtual CPR training course. Led by an American Red Cross professional, the session gives participants simple, actionable guidance for responding to cardiac emergencies.
Other engaging virtual topics to choose from include MapSwipe Crowdsourcing, and Red Cross Ready Disaster Preparedness training.
As the host, you would simply choose a date and time that works for you, along with a session type. GBU Life will set up the virtual event and send you a Zoom link, along with a customizable email invitation that you can distribute to your clients.

Host a Disaster
Kit-Packing Event
GBU Life invites you to host an in-person disaster kit packing event in your community. These events help provide much-needed supplies to your local American Red Cross office so they can support people affected by natural disasters, including hurricanes and summer storms.
As part of this event, you can also request for an American Red Cross professional to attend and facilitate a CPR training course or a Red Cross Ready Disaster Preparedness training.
As a host, you would simply choose a date and time that works for you, along with a session type (if you would like to add a training component to your event). GBU Life will send you a customizable email invitation that you can distribute to your contacts.

Make a Donation
No time to assemble kits? You can "gift a birthday celebration" instead by sponsoring Cake Kits. GBU Life will pack and donate the Cake Kits for you, thanks to your generous support, helping deliver birthday joy where it’s needed most.
Simply complete the form below any time before June 30!

What is a cake kit?
A Cake Kit is a simple, ready-to-use birthday kit that makes it easy for someone to celebrate their special day. Each kit consists of the essential items needed to bake and enjoy a birthday cake. These include a boxed cake mix, frosting, candles, and a can of soda (instead of eggs), all packaged together in a disposable baking pan for easy donation and distribution. The average cost of a kit is approximately $5.
Nonprofit organizations across the U.S.—including food pantries, family resource centers, domestic violence shelters, and senior centers—graciously accept and distribute Cake Kit donations. These organizations provide the kits to families in their network with upcoming birthdays. Each kit contains unprepared ingredients, allowing recipients to bake and enjoy their cake when it’s time to celebrate.
