Give Back University is a part of GBU’s commitment to our youth and their education. The best way to help the communities we care about is to help foster a sense of community in our youth. We hope that Give Back University members will grow up to be advocates and strong leaders both for GBU and for the communities they live in.

Make positive changes in your community by completing challenges that ignite your passions. Whether it's writing to your local congressman about the need for more anti-bullying programs, or being a voice for animals in need, you can be the change agent your community desperately needs.
Get entered to win a $250 gift card each month
Share your monthly projects with us to get entered to win gift cards. Simply share what you did by completing a Challenge Results Form. Each project you complete gains you an additional entry. We will pick one lucky winner each month to receive a $250 Tango gift card. So, the more you do, the more you earn. Tango's Reward Catalog has gift card options from major retailers like Nike, Target, Amazon, and more.
Complete 3 challenges and earn a gift card
For every three challenges you complete, you automatically earn a bonus $20 gift card. Be sure to submit a Challenge Results Form each time you complete a new challenge in order to qualify.
Take free Outschool classes
As a Give Back University student, you will have free and unlimited access to an innovative education platform that offers a variety of engaging, small-group classes online. Unlike traditional classes, Outschool classes give kids the unique opportunity to explore their interests in-depth via interactive, live video by experienced, independent educators.
Creating an Outschool Account & COPPA Compliance
In order to take free classes through Outschool you must create an account. Once your account has been created, browse the class list and find a class, date, and time that interests you. Click the "Schedule a Class" button below and we will purchase your class and email you the link for it.
Please note that the Outschool system requires that you enter credit card information upon account creation. Although this is a standard procedure when setting up an Outschool account, under absolutely no circumstances will your credit card ever be charged for completing a class taken as part of the Give Back University curriculum. Outschool requires this as a way to obtain COPPA compliance.

Explorers (Grades 2-5)
Popular challenges for Explorers include making cards for the elderly, donating used clothes, and filling boxes with toys for sick children.
Builders (Grades 6-8)
Popular challenges for Builders include completing a dog biscuit bake sale to raise money for the MSPCA and making "Bee Bombs" to help develop pollinator habitats.
Trendsetters (Grades 9-12)
Popular challenges for Trendsetters include collecting used books to start a library in Africa and completing a local food drive for Feeding America.
Complete and share your challenge with us to win giftcards.
Complete as many challenges as you would like each month.
Explore the available challenges for your grade level and follow the instructions to complete them. If you are already completing a community project through an organization like Boy Scouts of America or 4H, simply provide the project information to us via the "Wildcard Challenge" button, and that will count as well. Each challenge you complete, can earn you another drawing entry.
Snap some photos and complete a Challenge Results Form
During and after your project, snap some photos to share with us. Complete a Challenge Results Form and upload your photos. You must complete a challenge result form for every project you complete in order to have separate drawing entries. If you are 13 years old or under, please have a parent complete this for you.
Complete a Reimbursement Form
If you had out of pocket costs associated with your challenge, such as project material costs or shipping costs, save your receipts and upload them for reimbursement using the Project Reimbursement Form.
Share your challenge results on social media
If you share your challenge results on social media and tag GBU Life, you will get double drawing entries for that project. If you are under the age of 13, your parent can post for you.
